ECOTOXILAB, Laboratory of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Biotechnology, is the continuation of the business development initiated in 2003 by NATURAL BIOTEC, a spin-off company of the Complutense University of Madrid, integrated in the Biotechnology research group applied to decontamination and belonging to the Fundación Parque Científico de Madrid.
The environmental ecotoxicology analyses performed by ECOTOXILAB are reports using the OECD standards and ISO standards in relation to the different organisms of the biotic scale of soils and waters.
ECOTOXILAB offers biotechnological tests carried out with biomarkers of environmental stress, bioindicators of environmental microbiological biodiversity and design and application of ad hoc genetic probes for the identification of microorganisms.
Innovation in ECOTOXILAB draws on participation in national and European projects, collaboration with the scientific community and the application of results to sustainable development.
R&D Projects Managemet
ECOTOXILAB offers Project Management services and coordination of activities, as well as notification and advice for the achievement of public aid, to companies and institutions that wish to carry out R&D projects.
The protocols applied by ECOTOXILAB to the management of R&D projects are in accordance to the UNE 166000 family of standards. This guarantees compliance with standardized processes and the development of effective coordination and management of studies and innovation projects, facilitating the obtaining of AENOR certification.

- Preparation of the request for the report to the Ministry of Industry and delivery of the documentation for the certification of R + D + i projects.
